For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes no information regarding the domain or e-mail address. We collect information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations, name and address, telephone number, payment information (e.g., credit card number and billing address). With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.

Returns and Refunds

For the high street shops

We offer a 10 day money back guarantee to all our customers. If you return the items purchased to one of our stores within 10 days of purchase with a receipt and the items are returned in an unused and saleable condition, we will be happy to give you a refund. Please note that products returned after 10 days, or products that are purchased at a discount price, can only be exchanged for a credit voucher that can be used in any of our stores (excluding the online shop). Perishables, consumables and 'personal protection equipment' are not included in this guarantee. Cheques can not be refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights.

For the Online shop

We offer a 10 day money back guarantee for all online purchases from the day the goods are signed for by the customer. If you are unhappy with your goods, please send them back to us in an unused and saleable condition. They must arrive back to us within 13 days of you receiving them. This gives you an additional 3 days to organize return of the goods to us. Altimus Ltd. accepts no responsibility for loss during transit. Customers will be responsible for shipping costs incurred when returning goods. Please note that Products purchased during sale can be exchanged based on the stock Availability. Refunds are not given for sale items You can send the items to our returns address at: Altimus Online Unit 6-7 St. Marys Butt Broad Street Mall Reading RG1 2LN (We recommend that you use recorded delivery to guarantee arrival) If goods are received within the allotted time, we will be happy to give you a refund. Please note that refunds will not be given to customers if items are returned after the allotted time. Perishables, consumables and 'personal protection equipment' are not included in this guarantee. This does not affect your statutory rights. Cancellations Once an order is taken, it can be cancelled by the customer and a refund given while the order is in the pending and processing phase. Once the order has been shipped, the order can not be cancelled and the customer will have to return the items to Altimus in order to receive a refund. (For details, see section on returns and refunds). Re-stocking fee of £7.50 will also be applicable. Altimus Ltd reserve the right to cancel any transaction without warning. A full refund will be given for cancelled transactions. Prices on Altimus Online are subject to change without warning.

Delivery

We use insured, traceable delivery services from the Royal Mail or courier. 24 hour standard delivery is from the date of despatch not the date of ordering, and is subject to stock availability from our warehouse. Where stock has to be picked from one of our stores, the delivery time may be extended. For goods out of stock, we will update you with our anticipated delivery date within 1-2 working days of receiving the order. Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with parcels requiring a signature. If there is normally no one at home, a card will be left to re-arrange delivery. Should your parcel show signs of damage on receipt from the courier, please make a note of this on the courier’s documents or if possible take photographs of the damaged areas. This will assist in any claims which may occur at a later date.

Delivery Times

Delivery of orders to UK addresses typically takes 1 - 3 working days from when the order was placed, if the item is in stock in our warehouse. If the item is not in stock in the warehouse, but is in one of our stores, delivery typically takes 3-5 working days.
The delivery period for sale items may be extended by 1 or 2 working days. Delivery to Europe typically takes 3 - 5 working days from dispatch. Delivery to the rest of the world can take longer depending on where the parcel is headed.

After Sales Care and Repair Services

If any product purchased from our stores is faulty, we will be happy to send it for evaluation to our returns department who will determine if an exchange, repair or credit note is to be given. If no manufacturing fault is found, the item will be returned to the shop for collection.
